October in the desert, Marfa, TX

In early October, we were invited to vend our pieces at the Trans-Pecos Festival in Marfa, Texas, the chihuahuan desert. Marfa is a sacred space, filled with creative energy and people. I’ve painted an acrylic series here on the porch of a ranch house and walked the footsteps of Donald Judd through his concrete structures. The inspiration of Far West, Texas is endless. The creative journey of artists from this land inform our pursuits in craftmanship, reciprocity with the planet, and design.
